Is participation free?

There are no upfront fees to participate in Ciconia’s programs. Program funding varies by cohort, and any participant contribution or financial support will be clearly explained in the Call for Applications.

For programs funded through an Income Share Agreement (ISA), participants do not pay tuition or program fees upfront. Instead, they may repay the agreed costs in the future through a percentage of their income, subject to the specific terms of the ISA.

Is employment guaranteed?

While Ciconia provides extensive career support, mentorship, and employer engagement opportunities, employment ultimately depends on participant performance, market conditions, and employer requirements.

Can I work while participating?

Yes. The student visa allows you to work up to 30 hours per week, subject to the applicable visa conditions.
However, your participation in the program remains your priority. You will need to ensure that any work commitments are compatible with the program schedule and requirements. If you plan to take up employment while participating, please inform the Ciconia management team in advance so we can ensure that your work and program commitments can be appropriately balanced.

Will I receive a certificate?

Participants who successfully complete the program receive a certificate of completion.

Can I apply if I live outside the target region?

Eligibility depends on the objectives of each specific cohort. Please refer to the corresponding Call for Applications and targeted persona.

How competitive is the selection process?

Applications are evaluated based on eligibility, motivation, qualifications, and alignment with the objectives of each cohort.

Who is eligible to apply for the Ciconia Pathways program 2027 cohort?

Applicants should meet the following eligibility criteria:
1- Current location: Currently residing in Egypt.
2- Nationality: Palestinian.
3- Age: Between 23 and 35 years old.
4- Technology experience: Have proven professional experience in the technology sector, with 2+ years of experience preferred. Demonstrated professional experience will be considered regardless of formal educational background.
5- Education: A Bachelor’s degree, relevant academic background, professional training, certifications, self-directed learning, or other demonstrated technical qualifications are considered an advantage.
6- English Skills: Have a very good command of English, sufficient to participate effectively in the program’s learning, technical, and professional activities.
7- Documentation: Hold, or be able to obtain, the valid travel, identification, and other personal documentation required for participation and relocation.
8- Criminal record: Be able to provide a non-criminal record certificate when requested.
9- Commitment: Be prepared to fully participate in the program, relocate to Spain if selected, and understand and commit to the program’s Income Share Agreement (ISA) terms and conditions.
10- Selection process: Successfully complete all required stages of the application and selection process.
